At Beechcroft we endeavour to keep right up to date with relevant modern dental technology. Over the last 6 years we have completely re-equipped all 7 surgeries and installed air condition to improve the comfort of patients and staff alike.

The practice is fully computerised with the most up to date dental software.  Our recall system is computerised and uses email widely as a means of communication with our patients.  We will shortly be offering SMS reminders to those patients who request this service.

In several of the surgeries we have the use of intra oral cameras and often use digital cameras to help with treatment planning, referrals and co-ordination with our laboratories.

All of the dentists use high power magnification to help with diagnosis and the provision of highly accurate dentistry.  All dentists use apex locators to help provide accurate root fillings.

We have invested in the highly rated “Sterilox” decontamination system.

Cerec is a unique product in dentistry allowing the dentist to assess, design and prepare perfectly fitted ceramic (porcelain) restorations.

Treatment for tooth coloured crowns, overlays, inlays and white fillings has never been easier. CEREC uses metal free materials that are closest in colour to your natural enamel and no impressions are needed. Chipped or discoloured front teeth can be repaired using CEREC porcelain anterior crowns or veneers for a beautiful smile.

CEREC uses CAD/CAM technology, incorporating a camera, computer and milling machine in one. A special camera takes an accurate picture of the damaged tooth. This optical impression is transferred and displayed on a colour computer screen, where the dentist uses CAD technology to design the restoration.

At Beechcroft we can use CEREC for more than just crowns and fillings. Cerec is capable of producing any single tooth restoration.
