Your dentist will be able to refer you to either of our Specialists if required.

Sonia qualified as a dentist with Distinction in 1997 (King's College, London University ). Finding that she particularly enjoyed the field of periodontology (gum treatment), she decided to return to the books, completed the necessary degrees over a number of years and is now registered as a Specialist in Periodontics.

Her week is spent both in practice treating patients and in hospital where she teaches undergraduates and undertakes research. Sonia has enjoyed working at Beechcroft Dental Practice since joining in 2003.

Simon Moore is an Oral Surgery Specialist who provides care for patients who require removal of problem teeth, soft tissue surgery and implants. For certain procedures, he offers intravenous sedation. Simon works extensively with children and anxious patients and his cheery, kind and sympathetic nature always puts his patients at ease.
