Invisalign®

Orthodontics or teeth straightening has seen some excellent advances and traditional braces are no longer the only option. We use Invisalign® at Beechcroft Dental using state-of-the-art technology to create beautiful smiles.

If you have misaligned teeth or gaps between your teeth then Invisalign® can achieve great results without anyone even knowing you are wearing a brace as the method uses clear, almost invisible aligners.

What is an Invisalign® aligner?

An aligner is a clear, transparent, brace that fits over your teeth, like a mouthguard, and gently moves your teeth into position. Invisalign® aligners are changed at regular intervals, usually every two weeks as the teeth are guided into place. Your dentist will also check to see that the correct progress is being made throughout the procedure.

When are the Invisalign® aligners worn?

The aligners are worn at all times throughout the day and night apart from when you are drinking, eating or cleaning your teeth.

We use the latest 3D iTero scan technology to produce the images to create your customised aligners. You can also see a before and after image before you start your treatment. The treatment usually takes from 9-18 months to achieve the desired result.

Retainers will need to be worn to maintain your new smile and are included in all our Invisalign® packages. We provide high quality Vivera Retainers which are Invisaligns® own branded and recommended retainers. They come as a set of three and should last for many years.

We now include Dental Monitoring whereby our Invisalign® patients scan their teeth with their own phone using an app and a Scanbox provided. This way we are able to monitor their treatment much more closely and at the same time by reducing the number of appointments needed.
